Molly Harrison - Crimson Rose

Hi all

Before I get onto my card I have had some more luck come my way whoohoo, I won last weeks challenge over at Sweet Pea Stamps Challenge and have won a fab Elaine Cox stamp and a DT spot for next weeks challenge!! And, and and I was in the top 3 again over at Practical Scrappers with my little bird house card.

Well I have been stalking the postman since I found out I won the gorgeous new release stamp from Crafts and Me. The artist Molly Harrison has some gorgeous images and Teresa from Crafts and Me has made them into rubber stamps which are exclusive to Crafts and Me.

I have coloured the image in using Promarkers, the background was done using torn paper and chalks to create a softer feel to it. The wings got the Glamour dust treatment and the moon embossed using clear embossing powder. The flowers and pearl beads are from my stash and the black guipure lace is from The Altered Element

I am entering this into the following challenges:

Crafts and Me - Pink, black and white
The Craft Garden - Fairy

Finally some time to create!!

Hi all

What another hectic week BUT the sun is shining, the kids have gone to school without coats for the first time this year and best of all I have a day OFF!!!! Whoohoo!!

It has took me all week to make this easel card box/drawer with only half an hour here and there spare for crafting, but I am really pleased that I have finally finished it and I actually am pleased with how it turned out. I got the courage to make my first one of these from Crafts and Me whose challenge is "anything but a card" also the same challenge over at One Stitch at a Time (sorry not had time to enter recently)!!

I followed the sketch over at Midnight Madness which I loved using, as a side dish they are also asking you to share something BBQ related, LOL< I have shared a picture of my husband and a couple of the kids below enjoying the fire pit BBQ when we were camping last summer!!

Of course the image is Sweet Pea which I stamped with Memento ink, paper pieced part of the dress which is the challenge over at Sweet Pea stampers. I coloured the rest using promarkers and am entering it into the Passion for Promarkers challenge which is ‘fantasy/mythology’. I stamped the Basic Grey butterfly onto some scrap background paper which I made a while ago whilst messing around with various inks LOL and as the challenge this month over at Sir Stampalot is "Butterflies and Blossoms" I am entering into this challenge which I was lucky enough to come 2nd in last months (still doing happy dance from then hehe. I stickled the body of the butterfly to add some bling.

Another Sweet Pea

Hi all

Can you tell I am in love with these Sweet Pea stamps?? I havew made this for the Crafts and Me challenge which is a colour combo - pink, yellow and brown. Not a colour choice which I would normally pick ;-)

Love these Kate Knight papers which were free with this months Cardmaking and Papercraft, the colours are gorgeous and those birds were placed perfectly

Ribbon and flowers from my stash and the image coloured with promarkers. I added some sparkle with glamour dust on her eyelids.
