Chipboard Christmas Tree

Hi all

Another quick tutorial for my little Christmas tree.

What you will need:

Stiff cardboard or chipboard
Papers
Distress inks
Stamps
Embellishments
Corrugated cardboard
Twine

Method:

Step 1: Hand draw or print out a Christmas Tree template.
Step 2: Cut out your template and draw around it onto the cardboard and also onto some patterned papers.
Step 3. Cut out the cardboard and papers, add modge podge to the cardboard and adhere paper to is. (I did this the other way around by cutting the cardboard and then adhering the papers)
Step 4: Cut a slit from the top of one tree and from the bottom of the other one. Make sure the width of the slit is the same width as the thickness of the card.

Step 5: Add embellishments, I used a selection of Tim Holtz and Paper Artsy stamps, distress inks, Tim Holtz distress embossing powders.

Step 6: Assemble the tree and wrap corrugated cardboard around base, tie with twine.
