I am sailing...

Well not me exactly (I wish...), these 2 little cuties by Penny Black.

The very first challenge has been launched over on Penny Black at Allsorts challenge and the theme this month is "A burst of Summer colour" and to show what summer means to you, of course you need to use a Penny Black stamp to be eligible and there are some FABBYDOO prizes for the lucky winners!!

I coloured this image in using watercolours, text is a free stamp from Craft Stamper magazine a couple of months ago, shell is from Formby Point, near Southport which is my kids favourite beach in the UK!

This picture is of Zaid gathering dry twigs for the BBQ we had on the beach a couple of weeks ago, there is lovely soft sand there and loads of relative privacy in the sand dunes.

A view out to sea from our private dune!

I am entering into the following challenges:

  5. Hi Sarah

What a wonderful card and so cleverly embellished with the shell and piece of raffia, gives it a real feel of authenticity.

That beach look lovely, a long way from here otherwise could be tempted for a day trip.

Thank you for joining in our first Penny Black at Allsorts Challenge this month and good luck.
