Hi all
My nephew Ahmed is celebrating his 16th birthday and I was stumped for ideas for a card... nearly gave in and went and bought one, that was until I saw the teen digi stamps at Mo's Digital Pencil Shop where she has some fab images for Teenz (boys and girls). I had emailed Mo for some advice before purchasing and got a prompt really helpful email back... so I would 100% recommend buying the digi images from Mo!!!
I actually really enjoyed colouring in this image as even a novice with promarkers like me could get some shading in!!
I am entering into the following challenges:
Papertake Weekly - Sketch (see below)
Crafty Creations - Celebrate
Raise the bar challenge - The older the better!
For this card I used:
Video Boy digi stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop coloured with promarkers.
Digital sentiment which was a freebie (I will put where I got it from when I remember)
Papers: K & Company - Roam
Stars are cut from backing paper which is the first pack of papers I ever bought (a couple of years ago)
Scanned book page with Timberland logo overlayed

I won some candy!!!
Hi all
Kids are still off school and I have not been able to get into work today and probably the same tomorrow as both schools are closed again!!! I got a text from my kids primary school to say they are not opening til Monday... roll on Monday haha! My 14 year old son pointed out today they have had the equivalent of half the summer holidays off with the Christmas holiday and the extra week courtesy of the snow... groan... I love em really but just want to get back to a normal routine now!!
Anyway some good news, I won some fab blog candy (Dovecraft Craft Paper Pack) from the daily giveaway over at Donnas Den. She is still generously giving away daily candy so go and check out her blog.

Blog candy with a twist - hurry ends midnight TONIGHT!!!
There is a fab mystery prize with a value of approximately £40!- well I assume it is FAB but as it is a mystery I really am taking an educated guess hahaha...
Anyway all you need to do to be in with a chance to win is create a post on your blog with the following:
1. Add details of the candy and a link to their blog.
2. Your own favourite card of 2009 (from your personal creations).
Anyhow, here is my own personal favourite creation from 2009:
Snowy day!!
Hi all
Well we are like most of the UK well and truly snowed in hahaha!!
I went to bed at about 12.30 last night and there was only a light amount of snow and my eyes popped out of my head when I got up this morning at over a foot of snow. You could hardly see the cars in the street and can't tell where the pavement ends and the road starts!!!
My kids were meant to go back to school today and I had booked today off as an extra day of leave to have some crafty "me time". Blooming typical, every time I try and sneak an extra day off for myself one of the kids are ill, we get snowed in, I end up looking after my nieces or nephews.... there's always something!!!!!
Here are some photos of round where I live and of my youngest 2 kids having fun in the snow...
Half hidden car:
Safiyyah knee deep in snow!!
Safiyyah and Yaseen sitting on the "throne" they made from snow cleared from the drive!!! Doesn't look too cosy and comfy to me hahaha!!!
Knee deep in the road
The neighbours car is under there somewhere!!!
More fun in the snow:
