Well I can't believe it is Monday again, the weekend whizzed by in a frenzied deep cleaning marathon and ironing challenge, wanted to get on top of the housework and was going great guns until my daughter started being sick in the afternon and the poor thing is still not able to keep anything down :-(
I had some great news last week when I made the top 3 at I love promarkers!! I was so excited but haven't had chance until now to post about it on my blog! Thanks ladies for picking my Sweet Pea card, I am so honoured and will wear my badge with pride ;-)
Incy Wincy challenge was very quiet this week in comparison to last weeks mega entries, however the ones who did enter this week were of a gorgeously high standard, so thanks for all of you who entered... I think it was the cake which was the culprit!!
Today brings a new challenge and we have an amazing sponsor who gave the DT 2 amazing images to create with some of the DT used the Sock Hop Sweetie which reminds me of Grease (the movie) so go and have a look over at the challenge blog to see different variations of the same stamps!
The sponsor is no other than:
There are some seriously gorgeous and sassy images on there so check them out as and the winner gets to pick 4 digi images!
I used the Hippy Chic which as you can see is a fun and funky gal and I think she looks stoned! I paper pieced her top and trousers and coloured the hair and skin using promarkers. The papers I received in a swap ages ago and always wondered what I would use them for (you know what I mean I am sure hehe) but they were perfect for a hippy card, in fact all the embellishments were received in various swaps (the groovy bottle top was from my friend Jude (thanks hun).
I hope you can come over and join us this week as I and the rest of the DT really love seeing all the different interpretations of a theme.
Congratulations. Wonderful card, love the colours. Anesha
