Hi all
Here are my DT creations for Creative Craft World using the DT Easter kit, the challenge this week is Easter and you have until midnight 4th April to enter. As we can't join in our own challenges (obviously) Lou set us a DT challenge! She sent us each a DT pack containing some of the gorgeous Glazed Easter egg Bazzill card, some ribbon, flowers and brads and asked us to show what we can up with using only 1 sheet of the glazed Bazzill!!! The Bazzill comes in purple or white and is not the cheapest at £1.40 a sheet (hence the challenge to show how far 1 sheet can go) - I got eh white and wow it is so versatile! As the eggs are glazed I experimented by swiping an ink pad (I used Aloe Vera VersaMagic chalk ink) great as you can make everything co-ordinated!
The little rabbit and chick digi stamp (freebie from Bee crafty card I left the Bazzill au naturel. The eggs really stand out in real life but I found it hard to get a decent pic of it with my limited photographic skills!!
As you can see I made quite a lot with just the one sheet of 12 x 12!
3 cards, a basket and a gift sweet packet!! Hope you all like them?
I am entering these into the following challenges:
Simon Says Challenge - Easter or Spring and some glimmer
C.R.A.F.T. - Easter
Creative Inspirations Challenge - Easter
Charisma Cardz - Spring
Daring Cardmakers - Eggs!!! (Got lots of those LOL)
Colour Create - Your choice of pastels
Cupcake Challenges - Spring or Easter and lots of chocolate (I have included REAL chocolate which is no longer around hmmm - so much for the diet)!

Thank you card
Hi all
I don't often use Penny Black stamps for some reason - even though I do own some. This "Uplifting Occassions" is a stamped image I received in a swap. The challenge this week on the Penny Black Saturday challenge is "Butterflies and Bees" (don't know what happened to the birds and the bees LOL!
For the layout I have followed the Papertake Weekly sketch over as it is quite a big image and I don't think it needs much embellishments.
I have coloured the image using watercolours and pencils, glittered it with Ice Stickles. Papers are DCWV Sweet Stack.
Recently I won some blog candy over at Lisa's blog (Mess 2 Magic) and this is to say thank you! She is such a kind and generous lady - Lisa if you are reading this before you have received the card look away NOW!!!
I am entering this into the following challenges:
Sophisticat - Raining cats and dogs
Cute Card Thursday - Dimensions
Simon Says Challenge - Easter/spring and glimmer!

Sugar Nellies Luca
Hi all
Another boys birthday card - seem to be making a few mens cards recently! Mind you, the Cards for Men challenge blog helps out with inspiration (this weeks theme is birthday) as a lot of mens/boys cards seem to be the same theme and layout - don't know why men can't like primas' LOL!
I have followed the sketch on Sugar Bowl which had to include stars on the card.
I have coloured the Sugar Nellie stamp with distress inks and watercolours.
I am also entering into the following challenges:
Crafty Creations - Spots and Dots
One Stop Crafts - Spots & Dots
Creative Card Crew - Going dotty!
Creative Inspiration - Male

Distressed - the card not me!!
Hi all
I made this card today as I wanted to try a vintage look - first time I have ever distressed the papers! Think it looks ok though as it is not too torn - I love the tattered look on other peoples cards just not too sure on my own cards - think I am too much of a neat freak LOL!
I followed the sketch over at Crafty Sentiments which my lovely blogging friend is a DT member of (thanks Lisa Jane as I really loved this sketch)
I have used a Sarah Kay image and coloured her with distress inks (Frayed Burlap, Peeled Paint and Faded Jeans). I have used K & Co papers (Bailey) and flowers and ribbon from my stash!
I am entering this into the following challenges:
One Stitch at a Time - Recipe = 1 ribbon, 2 brads/eyelets, 2 papers
Cuttlebug Spot - Vintage
Cupcake - going green
Incy Wincy Designs - Green
Raise the Bar - Go green
The Pixie Cottage - Green
Fussy and Fancy - Green

Brand new challenge blog and my DT card!
Hi all
I am sooo excited to let you know about this one! Now I can reveal all hehe...
Lou from Creative Craft World has started up a BRAND NEW challenge blog and she has asked me to be one of the DT yay.... of course it took me all of about a nano second to say YES!!!
The first challenge this week is of course to celebrate all those Mothers out there and is is Lou's first Mothers Day, most of the time it is a thank less job but this is the one day of the year where Mums should get spoilt (I'm all for being spoilt all year round though ;-)
Here is my first card for the DT and we would all appreciate your support by joining in this special first challenge (FAB prize on offer too) have a look at the blog here
Thought I'd have another bash at making an easel card. I have used a Sarah Kay stamp and coloured with pro markers. Flowers are from my stash, prima and some silk flowers I took apart (LOL). I have used the Hero Arts Dandelion frame to make it look as though she is walking through the grasses. Papers are Papermania capsule collection (Heather) and of course Martha Stewart doily punch.
I am also entering this for the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Mothers Day/girly
Creative Card Crew - Celebration
Cupcake Craft Challenge - Flowers
Crafty Cardmakers - Female celebration
Ooh la la creations - Anything goes
Crafty Calendar Challenge - Flower power (optional extra is pastels)
By the Cute and Girly - Spring is in the air

Dads birthday card
My Dads birthday was yesterday (same day as mine - he must have been devastated to get me as a present all those years ago haha). I have only just made him his card today as they are still away travelling but are home tonight.
Love the image as it is my Dad all over (mind you he won't thank me for saying that he drinks beer in his pyjamas LOL). The image is a digi download from DigiStamp Boutique who are sponsoring this weeks Allsorts challenge (Just for Men), I just went for a nosey really as one of the DT had used a golfer image from there Digi Stamp Boutique which looked cute. However when I saw this I had to have it for my Dad! The PJ's and slippers were coloured with pro markers and I paper pieced the armchair, got this idea from Cards for Men challenge. I made the crossword in word and used it as the sentiment. I clear embossed the beer glass.
I have followed the sketch over at Our Creative Corner as it is not too fussy for a blokes card and the colour combo in shades of grey (which is a bit out of my comfort zone, still might give into the urge to add a bit of burgundy to his slippers) is this weeks theme on the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge.
Backing papers: Basic grey and the text on is unknown from my stash
Brads: Basic Grey
Cuttlebug embossing folder is Argyle

Tent card
Hi all
Well this style of card is another new thing for me to try out. There is a tutorial and some stunning DT examples of the tent card over on the Just Magnolia blog for their special monthly challenge which is to make a tent card.
In my infinite wisdom I decided to make a swing for Tilda to sit on. What a faff about it was too. The card itself was easy to make and one I will make again but during my creation it nearly ended up in the bin several times!!!
Tilda was water coloured (my first disaster was to use pro markers thinking the image I had received in a swap was stamped with Memento) but it bled terribly so she ended up in the bin, I used cosmic shimmers for the flowers and the bow in her hat. I attached the chain (half inched from one of my sons toys LOL) using jump rings, this was my second disaster, I could only find one set of pliers so had to make do with those and my thumb nail to open the jump ring), I pierced 2 holes in the top of the aperture to hang the chain from - this is where my third disaster happened as I was putting the ring through it ripped the paper arrrgghhh (hence the lace cover up LOL). I hand drew the wooden swing seat and attached Tilda with glue - 4th disaster as she was top heavy and kept tumbling forward - by this stage I was ready to seriously give it up as a bad job! Anyhow using anger management techniques (no I don't go to anger management sessions LOL) I walked away from it and when I went back later it all fell into place - phew!!!
Papers are Blueberry Hill by Papermania.
Lace from my local fabric shop.
Flowers are from Hobbycraft and some from my stash. Fabric flower same as previous post.
The beads are from a wedding favour.
I am entering the card into the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - Mother Day/girly which it definitely is!
Magical Crafts - Something for Mum
C.R.A.F.T challenge - Mothers day/flowers (this meets both)
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday - Open Challenge

1 card loads of challenges!
Hi all
Been a hectic week this week but I finally made time for some crafting - well thats if I don't count a scary tiger mask for my nephew, a fairy wand and bookmark for my daughter, a lightening bolt sword for my son (all for the Book Week at school)! Well today I am one year older and not much wiser hahaha!!!
Really enjoyed making this card with some new papers I treated myself to today (I am naughty cos I have LOADS and it was a want not a need).
This is one of my all time favourite stamps from Whiff of Joy, makes me feel all cosy and warm when I ink her up haha!! It is ages since I entered the challenges over on the Whiff of Joy challenge but this week there is a gorgeous colour combo of "coffee and cream" so I just had to have a go!
I have followed the lovely sketch by Karen over at One Stitch at a Time, I really enjoyed working with this sketch and it was perfect for the paper I used as there was no layering and this particular Victorian Classic paper from Paper Cellar looks great on its own, in fact the whole pad is beautiful!
I have coloured the image in promarkers (Satin, Cinnamon, Henna, Pastel Beige and Cocoa), the challenge this week over on Passion for Promarkers is Back to Nature and with all the flowers and the Hero Arts dandelion frame stamp which I have used behind Willow fits the bill!
I quite like the sepia look on the card and as it is all one colour I am entering it into the Crafty Creations Challenge which is all one colour and the Stampin' for the Weekend which is Monocromatic. It reminds me of the vintage photos which fits in with the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge of Back in Time.
The challenge over on Simon Says is Mothers Day/girly and with all these flowers it is defintely that!! The flowers are a selection from Hobby Craft but the fabric flowers I made following Bev's tutorial over on Whiff of Joy Inspirations and Tutorials Blog which is great for me as I don't have a sewing machine (even if I did I wouldn't be able to use it as I took Metal Work instead of sewing at school, made this choice after an absolute disaster making a pencil skirt that was so tight it bound my knees together and I could only walk by moving my legs from the knee down LOL).
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays have put a DT call out, check the details over on their blog and this weeks challenge is sparkle and shine!
The punched leaves meet the challenge at Quixotic Cards which is Leave it Out!!!
