Hi all

One of my lovely Creative Craft World DT Teamies sent me some lovely stamped images and this is the first card I made with them - THANKS Choccy!

I followed the sketch over at Trimcraft which the lovely Rozzy put together for us to follow!

Not sure which Tilda this is but I loved colouring her in using Promarkers. Papers are DCWV Nana's Nursery and the flowers are prima and the small rose and lace from my stash.

I am entering this into the following challenges:

1 card loads of challenges!

Hi all

Been a hectic week this week but I finally made time for some crafting - well thats if I don't count a scary tiger mask for my nephew, a fairy wand and bookmark for my daughter, a lightening bolt sword for my son (all for the Book Week at school)! Well today I am one year older and not much wiser hahaha!!!

Really enjoyed making this card with some new papers I treated myself to today (I am naughty cos I have LOADS and it was a want not a need).

This is one of my all time favourite stamps from Whiff of Joy, makes me feel all cosy and warm when I ink her up haha!! It is ages since I entered the challenges over on the Whiff of Joy challenge but this week there is a gorgeous colour combo of "coffee and cream" so I just had to have a go!

I have followed the lovely sketch by Karen over at One Stitch at a Time, I really enjoyed working with this sketch and it was perfect for the paper I used as there was no layering and this particular Victorian Classic paper from Paper Cellar looks great on its own, in fact the whole pad is beautiful!

I have coloured the image in promarkers (Satin, Cinnamon, Henna, Pastel Beige and Cocoa), the challenge this week over on Passion for Promarkers is Back to Nature and with all the flowers and the Hero Arts dandelion frame stamp which I have used behind Willow fits the bill!

I quite like the sepia look on the card and as it is all one colour I am entering it into the Crafty Creations Challenge which is all one colour and the Stampin' for the Weekend which is Monocromatic. It reminds me of the vintage photos which fits in with the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge of Back in Time.

The challenge over on Simon Says is Mothers Day/girly and with all these flowers it is defintely that!! The flowers are a selection from Hobby Craft but the fabric flowers I made following Bev's tutorial over on Whiff of Joy Inspirations and Tutorials Blog which is great for me as I don't have a sewing machine (even if I did I wouldn't be able to use it as I took Metal Work instead of sewing at school, made this choice after an absolute disaster making a pencil skirt that was so tight it bound my knees together and I could only walk by moving my legs from the knee down LOL).

Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays have put a DT call out, check the details over on their blog and this weeks challenge is sparkle and shine!

The punched leaves meet the challenge at Quixotic Cards which is Leave it Out!!!

Nephews birthday card

Hi all

My nephew Ahmed is celebrating his 16th birthday and I was stumped for ideas for a card... nearly gave in and went and bought one, that was until I saw the teen digi stamps at Mo's Digital Pencil Shop where she has some fab images for Teenz (boys and girls). I had emailed Mo for some advice before purchasing and got a prompt really helpful email back... so I would 100% recommend buying the digi images from Mo!!!

I actually really enjoyed colouring in this image as even a novice with promarkers like me could get some shading in!!

I am entering into the following challenges:

Papertake Weekly - Sketch (see below)
Crafty Creations - Celebrate
Raise the bar challenge - The older the better!

For this card I used:

Video Boy digi stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil Shop coloured with promarkers.
Digital sentiment which was a freebie (I will put where I got it from when I remember)
Papers: K & Company - Roam
Stars are cut from backing paper which is the first pack of papers I ever bought (a couple of years ago)
Scanned book page with Timberland logo overlayed
